Chasing Grace Project Expands Women in Tech Community with Newest Sponsor MongoDB

From August 5, 2019

The Chasing Grace Project is amassing support from progressive tech companies that understand the power of story to change culture. Story has been proven over the centuries to be one of the most effective catalysts for cultural change. In an industry where culture is the most often cited reason for the lack of women, it is important to give women a platform to be seen and heard.

It is the sharing of these stories that begins to change behavior and culture over time. It’s the candid look at those experiences and how women are rising above adversity to chart successful careers in tech that creates new perspectives and understanding and inspires us all.

Today we’re pleased to announce our latest partner, MongoDB, a leading, modern general purpose data platform. With more than 14,000 customers, the company’s D&I support can influence thousands of people throughout the tech community and advance a new conversation about what it means to be a woman in tech.

The company’s support and the collective support of all Chasing Grace sponsors and screeners is what makes the production of the entire series of six episodes a reality. Episodes #3 and #4 were recently shot in Los Angelesand will premiere soon. If you’d like an invitation to the premiere and/or have a story to share, please get in touch. If your company is interested in joining MongoDB, Boeing, Comcast NBCUniversal, eBay, Intel and many more in elevating women’s voices in the tech industry, we need to talk.

Thank you to MongoDB for contributing to an inclusive tech community, one story at a time.
